Welcome to CleanQ! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CleanQ mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by CleanQ ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using CleanQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. The Service
CleanQ is a marketplace platform that connects customers seeking cleaning services with independent cleaning professionals ("Cleaners"). CleanQ does not employ Cleaners and is not responsible for their work. Cleaners operate as independent contractors.
3. User accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
4. Customer obligations
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate booking information
- Treat Cleaners with respect
- Pay for services as agreed
- Not engage in any harassment or discriminatory behavior
- Provide a safe working environment
5. Cleaner obligations
As a Cleaner, you agree to:
- Provide accurate profile information
- Deliver services professionally and on time
- Maintain appropriate insurance and licensing
- Comply with all local laws and regulations
- Not engage in any harassment or discriminatory behavior
- Treat customer property and information with respect
6. Payments and fees
CleanQ may charge a service fee or commission on bookings. All fees will be clearly disclosed before payment. Cleaners receive payment for completed services after deduction of any applicable platform fees.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Bookings may be cancelled subject to our cancellation policy. Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis. Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions.
8. Ratings and reviews
Users may submit ratings and reviews based on their experiences. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our community guidelines, contains profanity, or is otherwise inappropriate.
9. Limitation of liability
CleanQ acts as a platform connecting customers and Cleaners. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CleanQ harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Bypass the platform to avoid fees
- Reverse engineer or copy the Service
- Upload malicious code or content
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or other reasons at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
13. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or via email.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CleanQ is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
